Project objectives

To develop a new, innovative training methodology that better supports and implements effective digitalisation of advanced manufacturing processes, by delivering blended and work-based training system solutions. VET providers will apply new WS tools and problem-based industry cases to let students answer "what happens if ..." based on a "play and evaluate approach". Support greening and HES processes, which are leading to reduced pollution, less CO2 emission and implement a new methodology.

IQMET aims to support and implement welding simulation tools in a new work-based learning environment, focusing on close education and skills updates for staff from industry in Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, and Norway. The VET community and industry cooperation will be based on work-based learning to meet local and regional industry needs. Through this project, a new pathway for focused education and training of industry staff will be available.
